Sometimes you might not be sending an email with a direct call-to-action. So including a call-to-action in your email signature will generate more leads.

What To Put On Your Email Signature To Generate Leads?

#1 – Add A Freebie Product or Service

Like the picture above, you can offer a freebie product or service.

For example, if you are selling pest control service to homeowners, you can offer a free report or inspections. On your email signature, include a link where they can fill out a form to get the free report or inspections.

#2 – Share A Testimonial or Case Study

People love to hear what other people have to say.

If you include a video testimonial then that’s even better. People rather watch video than read.

If a person sees what your company has done and how they helped someone similar to them, why would they not buy from you.

#3 – Include Your Cell Phone Number

It’s amazing how many emails I get and I never see a phone number in their signature.

If you are one of those people that are not putting your phone number in your email signature, what are you afraid of? Are you afraid that the lead or client might actually call you and give you their money?

It may sound silly, but putting your cell phone number in an email signature makes it seem like you are accessible. And people what to work with people that are accessible.

If you don’t have your cell phone number in your email signature, you are missing out on leads.

#4 – Link Your Content

If you have a blog or make video on YouTube, you need to link that in your email signature.

For example, if I wanted to send an email to people who opted in some lead generation help website, I might send them a link to this article.

This way, I give these people more value than just try to sell them something.

If you don’t have time for blogging or making YouTube videos, then you should answer questions on Quora. If you didn’t know this already, answering questions on Quora is another great way to generate leads.

#5 – “famous last words.”

Your email signature is the last thing people will read.

Your client or lead probably gets hundreds of email everyday.

Make sure when they read the last part of your email, they remember it.

For example, show your accomplishments here. If you are Amazon’s best seller author, add it here. If you got the EvilSalesman certification, add it here. If you have customers that gave you 5 star reviews, add all the 5 stars here.

Make them remember you.

#1 – Mobile Friendly

In today’s world, almost everyone is checking their email on their phone or tablets.

If your email signature does not look good on those devices, then people are going to think you are trying to scam them or they’re going to just delete your email and ignore you.

Test out your email signature on different devices and see how it looks and work before sending out emails to your leads or prospects.

#2 – Be Careful With Social Media Links

People are really big about include social media links in their emails. This can be a good or bad.

Depending on what type of clients you are working with you should or shouldn’t include this on your signature.

If you are not sure, see if your clients email signature includes social media link or not.

#3 – Make Your Title Better

So many emails I get where the title of that person is “salesperson.”

Do you think anyone want to work with someone who title is that? No one does.

If you are sales person include something like “marketing consultant” or “business advisor.”

These types of title will make you sound professional.
